Custom Fit Mouthguards for Sports or Nighttime

Worried about Knocking Out a Tooth?
Custom Athletic Mouthguards Collinsville CTWithout the proper mouth protection, playing sports can result in the loss of one or more teeth. Each year in the United States alone, approximately 5 million teeth are lost because of inadequate or a complete lack of protection. The over-the-counter mouthguards sold in retail stores do not fit well, which can compromise their effectiveness. But a custom-made mouthguard will fit properly and give sufficient protection for any sport. We make them right here in our office!

The American Dental Association recommends the use of custom mouthguards for these sports: acrobatics, basketball, boxing, field hockey, football, gymnastics, handball, ice hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, racquetball, roller hockey, rugby, shotputting, skateboarding, skiing, skydiving, soccer, squash, surfing, volleyball, water polo, weight lifting, and wrestling.

Custom Nightguards to Eliminate Teeth Grinding
If you know you clench your jaw or grind your teeth when you are under stress or while asleep, we can provide a nightguard that will protect your teeth from the wear and tear of grinding. This helps to keep more healthy tooth structure intact and protects restorations from damage. Your nightguard is worn at night during sleep, and we can provide you with a customized fit. It is important to be consistent with the use of this oral appliance to relieve symptoms and provide adequate protection for your teeth and fillings.
